What is this blog?

Put simply this blog will track my daily location on my PCT hike by satellite.

I have recently purchased an electronic device called "spot". It is a hand held satellite transmitter that allows the user to send a pre-written message and their longitude and latitude coordinates in a google-maps friendly link.
